Milford, Michigan. Well, what can I say but it’s another great, quintessential small town. A small town that has a huge General Motors presence. Milford’s downtown area boasts some really good restaurants with summertime outdoor seating, boutiques, mindful businesses and a community park. A YMCA, library, senior center and trail system that runs from Commerce Road all the way to Kensington Park are amenities residents enjoy. If you are looking for an engaging place to live, look no further. Whether you are into sports, art, music or the culinary scene, Milford has it covered.
Milford is a 2.5 square mile village in Milford Township which is located in Oakland County. The village sits in between I96 and M-59 making it easily accessible from the northern, western and southern suburbs and Downtown Detroit. I am always amazed that no matter what time of day or evening that I drive through Downtown Milford, there is always foot traffic, a feeling of warmth, and community. People are walking, and the community park is alive with a tennis match and a game of hoops.
It just so happens that I have an outstanding property available in Milford. Often times the design of a home does not reflect the day to day uses of space. 619 Olivia is so well designed for day to day living. My favorite feature is the mudroom. Accessible from the garage and deck, the mudroom has a spacious half bath with closet, butler’s pantry, coat closet and a pocket door that can close it all off to the connecting kitchen. I can talk on and on about this property but it isn’t manifested to it’s depth unless you see it for yourself. The master ensuite boasts a huge walk in closet & bath….it even has a water closet. One of the four bedrooms is a suite with it’s own new bath. Three and two half baths in all. A 700 square foot deck where you can watch Egret roost and Deer wander. Professionally landscaped with a four car garage. The bonus room above the garage can be finished to add to the already over 3,200 square feet. It has a walkout basement with five daylight windows too. At $479,000 it’s a deal compared to what you will pay for a new construction. The property is immaculate with all the details that can really add up in cost.
